Three Arrested in Vehicle and Cattle Theft Case

District police have arrested three individuals in connection with illegal cattle transportation and vehicle theft near Thitimathi in South Kodagu.

The accused have been identified as K.M. Ubaid (36), Abdul Rehman P. (34), and P.M. Mujeeb (36). Police seized ?1.43 lakh in cash, a Mahindra Scorpio, a Bolero pick-up vehicle, and two bullocks.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the cattle and vehicle had been stolen from separate locations in neighbouring districts.

A case has been registered under relevant provisions, and the accused have been produced before the court.

Black Pepper Theft Cases Reported

Two separate cases of black pepper theft have been reported under Gonikoppa police limits. Unknown persons allegedly stole 15 bags and 11 bags of black pepper from storage facilities belonging to local residents.

Police have registered cases and initiated investigations.
