In a relief to residents of Kodagu district, the Bengaluru Regional Passport Office has decided to organise a three-day Passport Fair from April 8 to 10, following a request by MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar.

The MP had written to the Ministry of External Affairs in February seeking the conduct of a passport fair in Kodagu to address difficulties faced by residents, especially senior citizens, who currently travel to Mysuru or Bengaluru for passport services.

The Regional Passport Office has informed that the fair will be held on April 8, 9 and 10, and has invited the MP to inaugurate the event on April 8.

The MP urged citizens of Kodagu district to make use of the opportunity.
