Jagadguru Sri Renukacharya’s philosophy and spiritual contributions hold a significant place in Indian history, said Municipal Council President P. Kalavathi.
She was speaking at the Sri Renukacharya Jayanti celebrations organised by the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat and Kannada and Culture Department at Gandhi Bhavan.
Assistant Professor Pratima Harish Rai of St. Ann’s Degree College, Virajpet, highlighted Renukacharya’s message of compassion, self-realisation and righteous living, stressing the relevance of his teachings in present times.
