Virajpet MLA and Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor A. S. Ponnanna inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujas for various development works in Kannangal and Chennayyana Kote villages.
He inspected the Rs. 1.50-crore check dam maintenance work at Kummehole undertaken by the Minor Irrigation Department and instructed contractors to ensure quality and timely completion.
He also dedicated a Rs. 15-lakh road constructed from his MLA grant and performed Bhoomi Puja for additional irrigation works worth approximately Rs. 2 crore. A concrete road built in Basavanahalli at a cost of Rs. 10 lakh was also inaugurated.
