Police conduct thorough inspection; No suspicious objects found
Panic prevailed at the district court premises after an anonymous e-mail threatening a bomb attack was received on Monday.
Court officials immediately informed the police, following which judges, lawyers, staff and members of the public were evacuated from the premises.

The Kodagu district police, along with the bomb disposal squad and dog squad, conducted a detailed inspection of the court building. District Superintendent of Police R.N. Bindumani visited the spot and supervised the security measures.
Police later confirmed that no suspicious objects were found. A case has been registered at the Madikeri Town Police Station and further investigation is underway.
