A preliminary meeting to prepare the Madikeri Municipal Council budget for 2026-27 will be held on January 28 at 3.30 pm at Kaveri Kalakshetra, under the chairmanship of Municipal Council President P. Kalavathi.

 Madikeri Municipal Commissioner H.R. Ramesh has invited senior citizens, registered organisations, NGOs, former elected representatives, and the general public to participate and offer suggestions regarding income and expenditure proposals.
