S.J. Somashekar Appointed as New Deputy Commissioner of Kodagu

Following the transfer of Kodagu Deputy Commissioner Venkataraju to Bengaluru as Commissioner of Survey, Settlement and Land Records, the state government has appointed S.J. Somashekar as the new Deputy Commissioner of Kodagu district.

S.J. Somashekar was previously serving in the Rural Development Department in Bengaluru. The government has issued orders appointing him to head the district administration in Kodagu.

The transfer order will come into effect from today. As part of the ongoing administrative reshuffle in the state, several IAS and IPS officers have been transferred to different districts.
