Four BJP members were elected unopposed as presidents of various standing committees of the Madikeri City Muncipal Council (CMC).
S.C. Satish – Public Health and Education Committee, Arun Shetty – Taxation and Finance Committee, K.M. Appanna – Town Planning and Urban Development Committee and Sharada Nagaraj – Accounts Committee.
The unopposed elections were held under the leadership of City Council President Kalavathi.
