Civil Servants’ Day was celebrated at Ambedkar Bhavan, where MLA Dr. Mantar Gowda praised civic workers for keeping Madikeri clean and emphasised providing them with insurance, permanent employment and regular health check-ups.
Municipal leaders highlighted the indispensable role of civic workers and stressed the need for protective gear such as gloves and masks.
