The second meeting of the Karnataka Land Revenue Second Amendment Bill Review Committee for the year 2025, relating to Kodagu district, was held at Vidhana Soudha.

The meeting was attended by the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor and Virajpet MLA Shri Ajjikuttira S. Ponnanna, Madikeri MLA Dr. Manthar Gowda, and Hon’ble Legislative Assembly members Dr. C.N. Ashwath Narayan, Dr. Srinivas N.T., and Shri Bhimanna T. Nayak. The Hon’ble Revenue Minister continued to explain the amendment bill during the meeting and received inputs from the officials present.

The Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor and Virajpet MLA Shri A.S. Ponnanna provided a detailed explanation regarding the Jamma Bane land in Kodagu district and expressed his views. Regional Commissioner Shri Aditya Amla Biswas, Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue Department, senior officials of the Revenue Department, the Kodagu District Magistrate, officers from the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, and staff of the Legislative Assembly Secretariat were present on the occasion.
