The Kodagu Gowda Samaja’s Federation, in collaboration with its affiliated organisations, has organised an essay competition for high school students on October 27, in connection with the Remembrance Day of Martyr Subedar Guddemane Appaiah Gowda, which will be observed on October 31, said Federation President Anand Karandlaje.
The competition will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Government Women’s College located in the Junior College campus in the city. Attractive prizes will be awarded to the winners, he stated in a press release.
