Election Commission Officials Inspect Branches in Kodagu

Brijesh Kumar, Under Secretary of the Election Commission of India, and Manish Kumar, Assistant Section Officer, inspected election branches across Kodagu district, reviewing preparations for the upcoming special summary revision of the electoral roll.

At a meeting held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Brijesh Kumar emphasized the importance of updating the voter list and raising awareness about Forms 6, 7, and 8. He instructed officials to ensure that all eligible citizens aged 18 and above are enrolled, and that names of deceased or relocated voters are removed.

Assistant Commissioner  Nitin Chakki provided further directives regarding the revision process. The meeting was attended by Nodal Officer B. Basappa, BLOs, Revenue Inspectors, and Tahsildars Praveen Kumar, Kiran Gouraiah, Krishnamurthy, Mohan Kumar, and Sridhar.
