Comments:

The Labour Department has directed all establishments with 10 or more employees to constitute an Internal Grievance Committee as mandated under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. Several establishments have not complied with this requirement.

Such establishments must immediately form the committee and submit copies to the Labour Officer’s office and the Senior Labour Inspector, Madikeri Circle, located at the District Administration Building.
