Sanket Poovaiah Visits Injured Workers

Karnataka State Wildlife Board Member Meriyanda Sanket Poovaiah visited the injured workers at Madikeri District Hospital and assured them of the best medical treatment. He acknowledged the persistent elephant threat in Karadigodu and said that as a permanent measure, MLA A.S. Ponnanna has ordered the construction of elephant trenches in the area. Funds have already been released for this initiative. Poovaiah also appealed to the public to exercise caution when traveling in the region during early mornings and late evenings.

Present at the visit: RF Shivaram, DRF Sanjeet Somaiah, and forest department staff.
