Madikeri, July 25: Four people died in a horrific accident on the Devarakolli highway near Madikeri.A lorry and a car collided around 12:50 pm. Victims — Nihad, Rizwan, Rakib, and Rishu, all residents of Market Road, Gonikoppal — were traveling in the car.
Despite efforts by local youths Sharath Keelaru and Tajuddin of Sampaje, who rushed the injured to Sullia Hospital in four ambulances, doctors confirmed all four had died.
