Dr. Mantar Gowda Felicitates Yashas Rai, Special Ambassador to Independence Celebrations

Yashas Rai, a young talent from Kodagu district, who has been selected as Karnataka’s representative and will share the stage with dignitaries, including the Hon’ble Prime Minister, as a Special Youth Ambassador at the Independence Day celebrations in Delhi on August 15, was felicitated by Dr. Mantar Gowda, MLA of Madikeri constituency.

The felicitation was held recently at the Sudarshan Guest House in Madikeri. Yashas Rai, an engineering student at KVG College, Sullia, is the son of Lav Kumar and Jayanthi of Murnadu village, Madikeri taluk. MLA Dr. Mantar Gowda commended him, noting that his achievement brings pride to Kodagu  district.

Former MLC Shanteyanda Veena Achaiah, Manjunath Gundu Rao, H.A. Hansa, Rajiv Gandhi Panchayat Raj Organization District President Thennira Maina, Kodagu District Youth Union President P.P. Sukumar, and Yashas’ mother B.B. Jayanthi were present at the event.
