Mysore-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar met Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia in New Delhi, submitting a formal request for the urgent resolution of connectivity issues affecting the BSNL network in Kodagu. The MP stated that BSNL service in the district has been severely impacted due to heavy rains that caused damage to electrical and telephone poles. He emphasized that the poor network affects online classes for students, digital courses, and the daily functioning of government offices.

The MP also raised the issue of malfunctioning backup batteries at mobile network sites and the delays caused due to their replacement. He stated that despite raising the matter in the DISHA review meeting, no significant action had been taken. The Union Minister assured the MP that the matter would be addressed promptly.
