Kodagu District BJP President Napanda Ravi Kalappa demanded the resignation of the state’s Congress government, citing numerous corruption cases.

At a press conference in Madikeri, he stated that despite the government admitting scams within the Valmiki Development Board and controversies related to the MUDA site allocations, it has failed to take accountability.

He criticized the state government for allegedly indulging in corrupt practices and for doing religion based politics by proposing 15% housing reservation for Muslims. Former Legislative Council member Sunil Subramani criticized the state for ignoring efforts made by previous MLAs to secure land for the Kodava community.

District BJP General Secretary Mahesh Jaini accused the Siddaramaiah government of discriminating against backward communities for the sake of its vote bank.

BJP Spokesperson B.K. Arun Kumar and Media Spokesperson Sajil Krishna were also present.
