Pradeep (49) a plantation owner was murdered by unidentified persons at Kongana of B Shettigeri in Ponnampet recently.
It is reported that deceased Pradeep, a native of Kerala owned a plantation in Kongana and was residing alone at his house in his plantation.
The miscreants slashed Pradeep’s throat and he died of excessive bleeding, the police said.
The reason for murder is yet to be known. A case has been registered at Gonikoppa Police station.
