Applications are invited for admission to the Rashtriya Military School in Dehradun, Uttarakhand for the academic year 2026.
Earlier, the last date to apply for this was March 31, but now the last date for applying has been extended.
It is one of the prestigious military educational institutions of the central government and students who are selected for this school will be trained to join the National Defence Academy and the Indian Naval Academy.
Applications are invited from eligible students currently studying in Class 7 for admission to the National Military school for Class 8.
To get admission in the eighth grade of the Rashtriya Military School one must have completed the seventh grade from a recognized school and must be between 11.5 years and 13 years of age.
The selection process for the candidates who have applied will be conducted in three stages. In the first stage, a written test will be conducted, followed by an oral interview and in the third stage, a medical examination will be conducted for the final selection.
The last date for submitting applications is April 15, 2025. Eligible students can apply by contacting their district Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Department office at Madikeri before April 15th
