Fire broke out at Kodagu University campus

Recently at Kodagu University campus in Chikka Aluvara in Kushalnagar taluk  fire broke out in the thick bushes which were spread to around 20 acres campus and  reduced to ashes. It is reported that fire broke out in the evening and due to strong winds, fire spread fastly to the entire area. The fire personnel rush to the spot as soon as they received the message and were successful in controlling the fire after three long hours.

It is also reported  that road side thick branches caught fire in Banavara road near Hebbale resulting in  long traffic jam for  motorists.
