In Bhagamandala region a deer poaching incident has been reported recently. The locals alerted the forest department after the skin and a leg of a deer, and a bullet, were found in Poovalamani village near Kundacheri. It is suspected that the wild animal was killed in the forest area between Kundacheri and Kopatti. Suspected individuals are being interrogated. A complaint has been registered.
