Coorg Institute of Technology (CIT) College, Ponnampet District Disaster Management Authority and NDRF team recently conducted a program on disaster management.
District Disaster Management Expert R.M.Ananya Vasudev gave information about disasters occurring in Kodagu district and its systematic management. NDRF Team leader Inspector Ram Bhaj and the staff gave a demonstration on life saving devices and their use. Principal Basavaraja welcomed the gathering. College teachers and students were present on the occasion. Later, teachers and students participated in the sapling planting program at the college premises.
