For the benefit of property tax payers in urban local bodies, an 5% discount which was available for property tax payment up to the month of April has been extended till July 31st, 2024 as per the order of the government.
Therefore, those who have not paid arrears for the tax payment of their properties coming within the town limits should pay the tax before July 31 and take advantage of the 5% discount, informed MadikeriCity Municipal Commissioner (CMC) Vijay in a press release.
