Kumar has recently taken charge as Assistant Director (AD) of Kannada and Culture Department, Madikeri.
Chinnaswamy, who was earlier held additional charges in the Kannada and Culture Department, handed over the charges in the office of the Assistant Director of the Kannada and Culture Department, Madikeri to Kumar. Kumar previously served as the Superintendent of the Department of Kannada and Culture at the Natak Academy, Bangalore.
