A car on national highway at Seventh Hosakote near Suntikoppa was damaged by a wild elephant recently. The incident has created panic among people. The jumbo entered the road from a plantation near gram panchayat office.
It is reported that one Sanif was parking his car near his house when the elephant charged towards him. He had a narrow escape as he fled the spot. But the elephant damaged the car by striking it with its tusks.
Incidentally, another wild elephant was spotted on the same road after some time. The people traveling on the road have been advised to be cautious.
