A wild elephant, which was constantly harassing residents of in Karidogodu, was recently captured by the forest department in an operation. The wild elephant, which has caused death of many innocents, was captured in Chakkanalli coffee plantation successfully with the help of 6 trained elephants. The operation was carried out with the permission of the government under the leadership Virajpet D.C.F.Jagannath. More than 100 staff participated in operation.
