A woman who had come for a relative’s wedding was hit by a speeding Maruti car and died on the spot. Rabiya of Kasaragod was the unfortunate victim. It is reported that she came to attend her relative’s wedding taking place in Gaddehalla.
Rabiya, who had attended the wedding, was standing on the road side. On this occasion, Sharath, son of Ponnappa, a resident of Giriappa Mane Gadde, who was driving the Maruti car hit three women first and injured them and lost control moved forward and hit Rabiya and crashed her into an electric pole. As a result, Rabiya, who was seriously injured, died on the spot. Three women who were injured in car collision were admitted to Madikeri District Hospital for further treatment. The police registered a case and are investigating.
