Kodagu District Police Department, District Health and Family Welfare Department and Indian Red Cross Society jointly organised Blood Donation Camp’ for Kodagu Police officers recently.
Inaugurating the camp Kodagu Superintendent of Police (SP) K. Ramarajan the District Police Hall, said that blood donation is a great service to mankind where the peoples donate their blood to save the life of another person.
Additional Superintendent of Police Sundaraj, Medical Officer of District Blood Fund Center Dr. KC Karumbaiah, Youth Red Cross Activity Officer Dr. M. M. Prakash, General Secretary H R Muralidhar and others were present on the occasion. 53 police officers and staff donated blood in the camp. Letters of appreciation were distributed to officials who donated blood.
