The Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club witnessed top-class golfing action as 251 players competed in the Patron’s Cup 2025, held from October 8th to 12th.
In the main event, I.K. Ponappa emerged victorious in the Strokeplay Gross category with a record breaking 68 Gross, edging out Shridhar Singh, who carded 73.
Among the Net categories, Sonam Chugh and M.S. Shashank both shot 66 Net, securing wins in their respective handicap brackets. The Stableford sections saw strong performances from Prem Jayanna (40 Points) and Dr. Venkatesh Joshi (34 Points), with senior honors claimed by A. Anantha after a tiebreaker.
The tournament, chaired by Sonam Chugh, showcased competitive spirit and camaraderie, marking another successful chapter in the club’s golfing tradition.
