More than 13 passengers sustained injuries when a transport bus collided with a JCB on the Madikeri-Kushalnagar highway.
The injured were immediately shifted to Cyrus Hospital, where they received first aid. Among the injured, seven were identified as Home Guards who were travelling to Madikeri for Dussehra duty.
Hospital authorities confirmed that the condition of most of the injured is stable. Police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of the accident.
