BM Deena, who represented Karnataka as the captain of the National Flag Football Championship tournament held in Hyderabad, has been selected for the international football tournament to be held in China in October.
Deena, who has consistently participated and excelled in various sports events for several years, is also recognized as a coach and captain of state-level teams.
She is a recipient of the state award and the daughter of B. B. Jaji, a teacher at Channayyana Kote Government School, and Mohan Kumar, a postmaster at the post office.
