Homestay Subsidy Scheme for Tribal Areas

Under the Central Government’s Dharti Aba Janajatiya Gram Utkarsha Abhiyan (DA-JGUA) and PM Janajatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan (PM-JUGA), financial assistance is being provided for developing homestays in tribal villages as part of the Swadesh Darshan programme.

Nittur village in Ponnampet taluk has been selected under this scheme. Eligible tribal households may receive up to Rs 5 lakh for construction and ?3 lakh for renovation of homestays. Applicants must submit relevant documents, including caste and land ownership certificates, Aadhaar, bank details, NOC from local authorities, and homestay photographs by August 11 to:
