MLA A.S. Ponnanna Seeks Resolution to Jamma Bane Issue

Virajpet MLA and Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor A.S. Ponnanna met State Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda at Vikas Soudha to seek a solution to the longstanding revenue and Jamma Bane land issues in Kodagu.

Ponnanna urged amendments to the Karnataka Revenue Act, 1964, to resolve problems related to land assessment, ownership, and title deeds specific to Jamma Bane land. He informed the media that the Revenue Minister responded positively and assured that necessary amendments would be considered in the upcoming monsoon session.
