Virajpet MLA and Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor A.S. Ponnanna reviewed ongoing development works in his constituency.

He inspected land in V. Badaga, Virajpet taluk, for the proposed hockey training center and instructed officials to submit a survey map of approximately 11 acres within a week.

As part of the continuous power supply initiative, Ponnanna inaugurated three 25 kV transformers in Harihar, Bellur, and Hudikeri of Ponnampet taluk. He stated that this project – launched with additional funds before the elections – is expected to be completed by January 2026.

To support digital governance, he distributed laptops to village accountants in the constituency under the state’s e-governance initiative.

He also visited the care center in Ballyamunduru, where he checked on residents’ well-being and assured them that long-term rehabilitation solutions would be developed.

At Kuttandi village, he met with forest officials and residents to address human-animal conflict. After hearing public concerns, he issued instructions to the department to mitigate the issue.

District Guarantee Implementation Committee Chairman Dharmaja Uthappa and other officials accompanied him during the visit.
