Eleven players from Kodagu have been selected to represent Hockey Karnataka in the 15th Hockey India Sub-Junior Women’s Tournament to be held in Ranchi, Jharkhand from July 3rd to 14th, 2025.
Out of the 20-member state team, 10 players and the team manager hail from Kodagu, showcasing the district’s strong contribution to the sport.
Achchapanda Pearlin Ponnamma will lead the team as captain.
Other players include Cheyyanda Twisha Dechamma, Bariyanda Bollamma, Cheranda Neelamma, Keethiyanda Purvi Poovamma, Machhamada Vidya Ponnamma, Porkonda Geeshma Ponnamma, Chourira Dhanya Kavemma, M.L. Krithika, and H.N. Jeevita. Kambiranda Rakhi Poovanna will serve as the team manager.
