Kodagu BJP District President Napanda Ravi Kalappa demanded the resignation of the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and Home Minister, holding them accountable for the Bengaluru stampede during the RCB victory celebration. He alleged that the tragedy, which resulted in eleven deaths, was due to a lack of planning and precautionary measures. He criticized the Congress government for attempting to politicize the tragedy and questioned their silence on the innocent lives lost.

Former MLC Sunil Subramani claimed that the police had advised against holding the event without proper arrangements and accused the government of using it for political gain. Several other BJP leaders, including Mahesh Jaini, Talur Kishore Kumar, B.K. Arun Kumar, and Umesh Subramani, were present.
