Recently Dr. K Ravi Appaji, a well known Orthopedic Surgeon and Consultant at Ravi  Orthopedic Centre, Madikeri  was invited as  speaker for Prof. Sudhaker Shetty Oration at Mangalore on the topic-‘Changing face of Orthopedics’ .

On the occasion Dr. Appaji spoke on the changing scenario of Orthopaedics over the years and the advances in science and technology. He also spoke about  the darker side medicine, integrity and ethics in  medical practice, etc.  which was very well appreciated by the  gathering.

Dr. K Ravi Appaji, on the occasion was also honoured with a certification by Senior Orthopedic Surgeon Prof.
Dr. Shantharam Shetty and many senior Orthopedic Surgeons of Mangalore Canara Orthopedic Society.

Many delegates, who were present-included surgeons from Mangalore, Manipal, Udupi, Puttur, Kerala and other places.
