MLA Dr. Mantar Gowda recently inaugurated the ‘semi-special ward’ at Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences teaching hospital, Madikeri.
A semi-special room for men and women has been built in the old building of the women and children department of Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, and it will provide services related to health issues.
On the occasion, MLA released a ‘book’ which provides information about all types of health services to the patients in Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital.
The book contains information related to laboratory report, X-ray, USG report, CT scan report, CT film report, MRI film report, ward health service. The book contains information about general department, OT, ward service charges, patient health relationship complete details, clinical chart, discharge information, food menu for inpatients, etc.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Dr. Mantar Gowda said that all efforts have been made to provide good quality health care to the patients at the Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital. In this regard, Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences is providing necessary basic facilities to the patients, he added.
MLA also informed that all types of health services are available at Kodagu Medical Science Hospital such as CT, MRI, X-ray etc. and added that since there was no special ward, a ‘semi-special ward’ has been constructed.
