Outstanding performance by Madikeri Centre in the state level Brainobrain abacus competition

In the recently held state level Brainobrain abacus competition, held at the NIMHANS Convention centre, Bangalore, over 2200, children from over 80 centres competed from all over Karnataka. Madikeri centre headed by Mapangada Kavitha Karumbaiah participated with 69 children and eventually won 39 Champion Trophies;24 Gold Topper Medals and 6 Silver Topper Medals, getting a 100% result.

The occasion was graced by Anand Subramanian (MD of Brainobrain International) Arul Subramanian (Director Technical) Neelkamal S. (Regional Director Karnataka), all the Franchisees and Faculties.

Kavitha Karumbaiah won the “Best Faculty and Franchisee Award.

Brainobrain is a skill development programme, which takes the children to greater heights of accuracy, confidence, concentration and multi-tasking skills the children are required to do around 60-75 complex sums in just 3 minutes time, which required tremendous speed, accuracy and mental agility. Kavitha Karumbaiah attributed all the credit to the children who performed in that 3 minutes and the parents, who took the initiative to take the children to Bangalore.
