Indian rider Tasmai Cariappa secured his first victory of the 2026 season by winning Race 2 of the Super Bike 1000cc SB2 class at the NEXZTER BRIC Superbike Championship 2026, held at the Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand, from July 31 to August 2.
Representing Nexzter Liqui Moly Yamaha Moritech Bridgestone AVRP, Cariappa produced a commanding performance in the 12-lap race. Starting from the front of the SB2 grid, he maintained a strong race pace throughout and led from start to finish, recording a dominant lights-to-flag victory to claim his maiden win of the 2026 season.
The victory marks another significant milestone in Cariappa’s racing career and adds to his growing list of achievements on the international circuit.
The championship will resume with Round 3, scheduled to be held from October 16 to 18, 2026.
