B.K. Sinchana creates new yoga record with 310 asanas in 33 minutes

B.K. Sinchana, a seventh standard student of BGS School, Madenadu, has created a new record on the occasion of International Yoga Day by performing 310 yoga asanas in just 33 minutes.

In the online competition organised by the Indian Book of Records and the Asian Book of Records, participants were required to perform 300 asanas within one hour. However, Sinchana completed 310 asanas in 33 minutes and emerged successful.

She is scheduled to receive a medal and certificate next week. Sinchana is the daughter of B.C. Kirthi Kumar and B.S. Renuka.    The felicitation programme held at the hall of the Made Krishi Pattina Cooperative Society was attended by Society President Agolikaje Dhananjaya, retired teachers BariyandaJoyappa and M.S. Shivara, Sri Chamundeshwari Temple President Yashodhara of Devakolli, senior citizens B.C. Chennappa and B.C. Tilak, a soldier and sportsman, Society Secretary Mohini and other prominent personalities.
