Karnataka Institute of Co-operative Management (KICM), Madikeri Co-operative Training Institute, has invited applications for the six-month Regular Diploma in Co-operative Management course commencing from July 1, 2026.
The institute caters to Kodagu, Hassan, Periyapatna taluk of Mysuru district and Mudigere taluk of Chikkamagaluru district.
Applications can be submitted from May 11 onwards. The minimum qualification prescribed for admission is SSLC or equivalent.
During the training period, general category students will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 500, while unemployed SC/ST candidates will receive Rs. 600 per month. Free accommodation will also be provided.
The institute is also offering a six-month distance education Diploma in Co-operative Management course for those working in co-operative societies, organisations and banks.
As per the latest amendment to the Act, completion of the DCM course is mandatory for promotions under KCS Rule 17(a)(b).
Two academic sessions are conducted annually from January to June and July to December. Study materials, contact classes, offline hybrid-mode classes and co-operative weekly publications will be provided. Marks cards and certificates will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
