Dr. Mullengada Revathi Poovaiah, Assistant Professor in the Kannada Department at Gonikoppa Kaveri College and a noted litterateur, represented Kodagu as a Kodava language poet at the Sahitya Akademi Festival of Letters 2026.
The prestigious festival, organised by the Kendra Sahitya Akademi, was held at Ravindra Bhavan, New Delhi, from March 30 to April 4. Over 650 writers representing more than 50 Indian languages participated in various literary symposiums.
