The district administration has clarified that there is no shortage of domestic LPG cylinders in Kodagu and that supply remains uninterrupted.

Consumers have been advised not to pay heed to rumours circulating on social media and to book only the required quantity. LPG distributors have been instructed to ensure regular doorstep delivery.

To address public grievances, a helpline has been established at the Office of the Deputy Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department.

Authorities have warned that strict action will be taken against illegal storage or unauthorised sale of LPG cylinders under relevant laws. Deputy Commissioner S.J. Somashekhar has urged the public to cooperate in ensuring smooth distribution.
