Virajpet MLA A.S. Ponnanna inaugurated the newly constructed Kodava Bhavan at Hoskeri village in Arekad, built at a cost of Rs 1 crore.
He said the Bhavan would help preserve Kodava culture and promote community integration. Association President Kukkera Jaya Chinnappa stated that a health club and synthetic turf for the badminton stadium are planned. Prominent contributors were felicitated on the occasion.
