Kodagu District Kannada Sahitya Parishad’s most prestigious endowment award “Kodagina Gowramma Award” has been awardedK G Ramya of Moornadu this year for her book “Dahagal Mai Savarutta” a poetry collection informed, Kodagu district president of the Parishad M P Keshav Kamat in a press release. K. G Ramya is one of the best poets of the district and she has recited several poems in poetry conferences and won prizes too.
Keshav Kamat also informed that for the year 2023-24, nine writers have been invited for presenting their works for the award. So far 19 women writers have been awarded this prestigious award. This endowment was established by Gouramma’s son Late B.G.Vasanth, the release added.
