Applications have been invited for admission to various courses for the January 2025-26 academic session at the Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) Regional Centre, Madikeri.
KSOU has already commenced online admissions for UGC-recognised academic programmes under the January edition. The university, functioning with the motto “Your home is a continuous school,” has been providing open education opportunities for several years and is the only institution in the state offering such programmes.
As per UGC norms, students are permitted to pursue two academic programmes simultaneously, providing a significant opportunity for learners. Online applications are invited for first-year admissions to ODL programmes, including direct admissions, for the January 2025-26 session.
Under undergraduate programmes, admissions are open for B.A., B.Com., B.Lib.I.Sc., B.B.A., B.C.A., B.Sc. and B.S.W. Postgraduate admissions are open for M.A., M.A. (Journalism), M.Com., M.B.A., M.Lib.Sc., M.Sc., M.C.A. and M.S.W. Admissions are also open for newly introduced courses in Astrology (Phal Jyotishya, Medhini Jyotishya and Vastu Jyotishya) and Linguistics, along with PG Diploma and Certificate programmes.
Applicants are required to submit photocopies of SSLC, PUC or equivalent marks cards, degree marks cards (all years/semesters), Aadhaar card, bank account details, contact number, student email ID and four passport-size photographs. Women applicants must also submit a BPL card copy. Fees can be paid through ATM card, Face Pay, Google Pay or net banking.
