Rajahamsa Bus Fares Reduced

In a move aimed at benefiting passengers, the KSRTC, Puttur Division, has reduced fares for Rajahamsa and non-AC sleeper buses operating from Madikeri, Kushalnagar, Virajpet, Gonikoppa and Somwarpet to Bengaluru and Mysuru, with effect from January 5, 2026.

Divisional Controller M.P. Srihari Babu said the revised fares are as follows: Kushalnagar-Bengaluru non-AC sleeper fare has been reduced from Rs 780 to Rs 700, while the Rajahamsa fare has been reduced from Rs 680 to Rs 550.

The Kushalnagar-Bengaluru Rajahamsa fare has been reduced from Rs 620 to Rs 500. Rajahamsa fares from Virajpet, Gonikoppa and Somwarpet to Bengaluru have been revised to Rs 550 from the earlier range of Rs 620-Rs 630.

On the Madikeri-Mysuru route, the non-AC sleeper fare has been reduced from Rs 570 to Rs 450, while the Rajahamsa fare has been brought down from Rs 430 to Rs 280.

Srihari Babu has appealed to the public to make use of the reduced fares and travel in corporation buses.
