Sainik School Kodagu, a premier residential institution under the Ministry of Defence since 2007, continues to make steady progress in academics and holistic development. Recently Col Amar Jeet Singh, Principal of the school, met Honourable Member of Parliament Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and briefed him on the school’s achievements and growth.
The Principal highlighted the school’s effective functioning, increasing number of cadets joining the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy, and alumni serving the nation in diverse fields, including civil services. He also shared the school’s consistent academic performance in board examinations along with excellence in sports and cultural activities at state and national levels.
The Honourable MP, who is also the Patron and a Member of the Local Board of Administration, expressed happiness over the school’s growth and infrastructural development. He assured full support to further strengthen the institution and take it to greater heights.
